About

How we verify deals

Coupon sites are full of expired codes and "100% verified" badges nobody checked. We do it differently, and we show our working.

Our rules

  1. Source first. We list a code only if the merchant or an official partner (a bank, card issuer or the merchant's own blog) published it, and we link to that page.
  2. Two different dates. "Source checked" means we saw the code on the official page that day. "Last tested" means we actually applied it at checkout. Until we've done a test, the table says Not tested yet.
  3. Exclusions up front. New-user-only, specific cards, minimum spend, regions where it doesn't work: it goes in the table, not the small print.
  4. No code? We say so. If nothing verifiable exists, we explain how to get the best price anyway.
  5. Prices with dates. Booking guides quote public prices with a link and the date we checked.

Who we are

Longtail Deals is run by a small independent team based in Southeast Asia. We link every code and price to its source, date every check, and say clearly when we haven't tried something ourselves yet.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This never decides which code or option we recommend. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
