How we calculate
We look up the rule for your passport on your entry date: 30 days for visa-exempt entries from 15 Sep 2026, or the 60-day stamp if you arrived on or before 14 Sep 2026. Thai immigration counts your arrival day as day 1, so the last legal day is the entry date plus the allowance minus one.
An extension adds its days to that last day (usually 30 days for ฿1,900, once per entry). Every day after your last legal day counts as overstay at ฿500 a day, capped at ฿20,000. Each rule shows whether we confirmed it on an official Thai government or embassy page.
Not legal advice. This is a planning tool. Your passport stamp and the immigration officer’s decision are what count, and rules change. Always confirm with the Thai Immigration Bureau or your local immigration office.
